HSBC CC always rejected

I'm applying for HSBS Visa platinum credit card for the second time. My CIBIL is good and my salary is also good. Then why my application gets rejected? I hold many other cards like HDFC, Axis, AMEX etc.

Last week I applied for HSBC card and now I suddenly receive one SMS from 50350300 that "Dear Customer, you will receive a message within 2 days on how to generate your HSBC Card Pin via SMS." is it normal or spam sms? I haven't received any approval or rejection email. Also there is no way to track application status on HSBC. Kindly share experience if anybody has received same sms after applying for HSBC card.

It means your card has been approved. You will directly get a dispatch sms now.

Yes, since it is International Company you are getting SMS from International Location. No need to worry. We also get SMS from Amazon, Uber from such numbers.

Yes I also received SMS from same number before getting any SMS of approval.

I also got this message today, i had applied last month. Literally forgot about the application. How long does it take to get the card after this message.

Bro for HSBC it's always better to apply via agent.
Cause there are many criteria like address and others.
Better connect with an agent and then surely it'll be approved.
Even mine got approved the same way even though my address is not serviceble area agent has managed it for me😂.
I have referred my friend and then even he got it irrespective my address.

I got the SMS today. I had applied for HSBC Platinum Card 4 months ago. While it got provisionally approved on the first attempt - they kept on rejecting my documents and used to call me for fresh documents every one week. They are just like Bank Of Baroda.

Well, these are still a myth... my last 1 year (the moment I landed on this forum 🙂 is full of enquires but still able to acquire the cards from all the leading bank.. and the key is to keep on trying... 😀

The main reason for HSBC card denial is serviceable location.. also if your residence address and job address is different then also chances are high for denial.. but still, there are ways to overcome such issues..

What did they ask in vkyc? Do we need to show any physical documents?
