HSBC credit card application decline. Need help.

Today, I applied for an HSBC credit card. After completing the application form, my request was declined without any explanation. Could anyone provide possible reasons for the rejection and advise on how to successfully obtain an HSBC card in the future?

HSBC's outsourced third party guys (n girls) insist on proper salary slips - with all valid validations - exactly spelled name, designation and address and all other mandatory details.... And, the last 6 months of salary SB account statement clearly showing the exact amounts with narration of SALARY in the description column. At times - for newly joined employees, they will also ask appointment letter. Thesr are besides the usual dox like the PAN, AADHAAR, ITR Latest, Residential address proof (strictly only approved ones).....ANY MISMATCH OF ANY OF THESE PARAMETERS - IS TROUBLE.

my HSBC application is pending from last 3 months due to an issue with payslip format. Even though they sent a reply saying it is finally declined but I have not received any formal rejection email. They are ready to process if I upload a modified copy but I want them to accept the same as it is. I raised RBI complaint regarding this but they are still adamant.

They call n explain. Rarely give it in writing.

No point in complaining to RBIO or even to their PNO. MOST OF THE MISTAKES ARE DONE BY THE 3RD PARTY PROCESSING TEAM - which technically is NOT proper HSBC.

I proved a couple of times their glaring mistakes - they agree n say sorry. But, rarely you get anything from HSBC - in writing.
