HSBC Premier Credit Card and HSBC Cash Back Credit Card are getting facelift upgrades.


HSBC Premier Credit Card Features:

Welcome Offer: Metal card includes Taj Epicure membership and a Taj voucher worth Rs 12,000 upon activation.
Travel Benefits:
Forex mark-up of 0.99 per cent globally.
Unlimited domestic and international lounge access, plus eight free lounge visits for guests annually.
Cardholders can earn one air mile for every reward point across 20+ airlines in Star Alliance, including Air India.
Lifestyle:
Complimentary annual membership to EazyDiner for dining perks.
Additional instant discounts on restaurants.
Movie and event offers from BookMyShow, including buy one, get one free on tickets.
Reward Points:
You can earn 3 reward points for every Rs 100 spent.
Evergreen reward points come with no expiry date.
Fees:
Joining fee: Rs. 12,000.
Annual fee: Rs. 20,000 (waived for qualified premier customers of the Bank).

Cashback Benefits:
Up to 10 per cent cashback on dining, food delivery, and grocery.
Unlimited 1.5 per cent cashback on other expenditures.

Joining fee: Rs 999 for new customers.

Yes. That's what my RM told me. All existing card holders will be getting the metal version for free. They will be automatically upgraded and the new metal card will be dispatched. It will be dispatched in batches so most will receive it by Dec month end.
New premier customers will have to pay the joining fees.

Customers need to pay the joining/renewal fees if they are not Premier customers.

So this means that people can apply for this card without being Premier customers, too.. but, apparently, on the website, it simply takes to Premier sign up and not Premier credit card application..

My RM told me it's chargeable joining fees of 12k from 1 Jan, however no annual fees as long as premier, so looking to additional views.
