Statement: AUGUST 2024

I can see they have credited cashback as
Pending Cashback as per AUG24 Statement - ₹1933.56

But they missed one transaction dated 17 JUL 2024.
What to do for that ?
Amount of the transaction was ₹2822, roughly would be getting ₹42.33 more cashback

Last day transactions always gambling for "any bank", it may or may not include in that statement. Some banks ignore last 2 days also. It happens and its common across "all banks".

I got 2 credits. One says rewards credit and just now i got pending cashback posted as per aug month statement. This is totally confusing me

Got correct cashback ( for 15Aug to 14Sep ) last night as REWARDS CREDIT (within 2 days of statement generation). It cant get better than this for any cashback card.

Voucher Purchases on Magicpin Pin will fetch 10% on LIVE+ as Magicpin is using Grocery MCC and ensure Cashfree Gateway while transacting on Mpin.

For Swiggy HDFC use Amazon for GVs Purchases.

Avoid Merchant Name "AMAZON" in OTP SMS. Rest Would be fine for GVs.

One month cashback missing for my wife's card I guess ( billing cycle 2nd of every month ).
July 11, June month statement cashback credited 1000rs ,
August 3rd rewards credit 997rs
Sept 3rd rewards credit 911rs
Sept 13th pending cb posted as per August 3rs

Looks like July month cashback is missing since August month onwards it's started to showing rewards credit .

Am i right ? Shall I complaint to hsbc ? Or others also facing same issue ?

So there are rewards that are completely random. And then there is cash back which is exactly correct.

1st statement cashback correct . No reward
2nd statement correct cashback . Extra reward.
3rd statement no cashback yet . 3days delayed and reward. Reward is random. No clue how it's calculated

Reward is now the cashback of the cycle just ended. Since you got rewards after 2nd statement, you won't get cashback after 3rd statement.

you can call customer care and ask to swap the cards. Usually they used to issue, but not sure if they still do that.
