2X reward points will be posted within 60 days post the month end of the transaction

Some Calculations -

If we consider 1 RP = 1 ALL Accor Point and hence consider 1 RP = INR 1.8

2x reward points - 7.2%
Base Reward Points - 3.6%
Welcome Benefit Milestone - 5400 on 1,00,000 spend is 5.4% (No Exclusions)
Annual Milestone Benefit - 18000 on 12,00,000 spend is 1.5% (No Exclusions)

Now if you combine the Welcome Benefit Milestone & Annual Milestone then the first year Reward Rate in Accor Terms for all excluded spends also comes out to be - 23400 on 12,00,000 spends is 1.95% (Waiving the Annual Fees & without any exclusions)

But the joining fees need to be adjusted in all the above calculation and it depends on how you value 3k Postcard Hotel voucher & 3 Months Eazydiner Prime Membership as otherwise net of cashback the Joining Fees is INR 4898.82.

They seem to be on a roll. Expanding branches, introducing new cards, etc seems they intend to fill the Citi void.
If they are then they have been really good at pushing customers away. They have one of the worst customer service among foreign banks. Maybe still better than SCB.

Except Citi and DBS almost every other foreign banks had. Thing till the time bank churns out decent to epic level cards in terms of value people are bound to get attracted and take it. Irrespective whether it’s a foreign or domestic entity. Citi IOC was one of pioneers of cobranded fueling card people were happy with it Till the time points credit issue crept up on specific POS swiping and other banks entered the space with more lucrative products, though customer care was good. Same goes for SC Ultimate which was one of the top cards for almost six years straight till couple of years back it got devalued for major category of payments such as Tax, Govt, Insurance, etc. People used to covet for this like anything. Nobody used to bother about HSBC when they had (and still do) Platinum till the time they launched Cashback/Live+ hence its a matter of individual use case whether to continue with the card despite any devaluation till the till they are getting any value. With regards to eligibility criteria all banks have some form or the other hindrance for a select set of group of customers to onboard. Many don’t prefer Infinia owing to their spending eligibility criteria for card upgrade and simply because they don’t travel much where despite spends upgrade is not guaranteed whereas someone who has Zomato spends might value axis Neo card more than any other card in the segment. Such customers find value in alternate sources.

does anyone know if airbnb falls under x2 category? MCC code is 7011? does not show any info about it to me. But I am also unsure if the MCC code is 4722 or 7011 for airbnb for international bookings
