Hyderabad to Rishikesh & Mussoorie

Hey everyone!

Just wanted to share a quick update on the start of my trip from Hyderabad to Rishikesh and Mussoorie.

Due to a last-minute plan, direct flights to Dehradun were quite expensive. So, I opted for a one-stop flight via Delhi. I booked the tickets through the IDFC Travel website and managed to grab a 15% discount.

Here are the flight details:

Route: Hyderabad (HYD) → Delhi (DEL) → Dehradun (DED)

Airline: IndiGo

Booking Platform: IDFC Travel

Price: ₹8066 per person (₹16132 for 2 people)

Departure from Hyderabad: 22nd April 2025 at 11:30 PM

We reached the airport by 7:30 PM to avoid any last-minute rush. After check-in and security, our flight was scheduled from Gate 4. With plenty of time before boarding, we decided to explore a couple of perks.

First, we used our Tata Neu Plus HDFC Credit Card to access the Encalm Lounge through the DreamFolks website. We entered the lounge around 8:20 PM and spent about an hour enjoying a relaxing atmosphere and a really good dinner.

After the lounge, I took advantage of another benefit — as an IDFC FIRST Bank Ashwa Credit Card holder, I had access to a complimentary spa service. I visited ODE Spa inside the airport and enjoyed a 30-minute foot massage, which was incredibly relaxing and a perfect way to unwind before the flight.

After spending a relaxing hour at the Encalm Lounge and a refreshing 30-minute foot massage at ODE Spa (thanks to the complimentary benefit on my IDFC FIRST Ashwa Credit Card), we headed to Gate 4 around 10:15 PM and waited for the boarding announcement.

Our flight departed from Hyderabad at 11:30 PM and we landed at Delhi Airport around 2:00 AM on 23rd April 2025.

Now came the long layover — our connecting flight from Delhi to Dehradun was scheduled for 8:55 AM, arriving in Dehradun at 9:45 AM. Instead of waiting around the terminal, we decided to make ourselves comfortable again.

We accessed the Encalm Lounge at Delhi Airport for a second round of relaxation:

Both cards offered complimentary lounge access, which made the early morning layover far more comfortable. A great way to stay refreshed before the final leg of our journey!
