I need some clarification on HDFC Bank Credit Card LTF Criteria.

Hi,

I am new to the community and thus I wanted to know about the new LTF criteria for HDFC bank credit cards. AFAIK it was either spend a certain amount or add a smart bill pay. But today when I checked it has 3 options.

Correct me if am I wrong:

1. Spend 1,00,000 within 90 days
2. Take an addon card within 90 days
3. Balance transfer (min 10K) from other bank credit card within 90 days

Any one of these 3 successful tasks would lead to getting an LTF card, right?

Also, what does balance transfer exactly mean? (I haven't tried it yet)

It means transferring the dues of other card to this card. (When other card is charging you higher interest rate than this card, you can do this method to save some bucks, if needed. Though there might be a fees for balance transfer.)

If u fulfill any one condition out of 3 then ur card will be LTF.
Is this your first card or u have been upgraded?

Yes, I am applying for my first HDFC credit card.
So that means, if I take an addon card (assuming that is free of cost), the Regalia Credit Card becomes LTF?

Yes, that's right but u have to apply for add on within 90 days.

Recently filled up the form for HDFC Regalia Credit card. The Bank official informed me about the changes to LTF criteria. A new addition was applying for add on cards at the time of CC application. That is one of the ways to get the card as LTF.
This being a very recent update,is not reflected on the bank website.

After approval I'll get the addon card option? Or while filling the form? Also i need to take add-on on may name or any other family member? The other add-on card which i will take will also be ltf? And after making my primary card ltf i can close add-on card?

Suppose i have indusind card okay? But due date have time still i can transfer balance of that card to hdfc? To make it ltf?
Basically i am trying to say is i can transfer other bank amount to hdfc whenever i want or only when bank is charging me interest?

Yes it will make your credit card LTF no matter where(EMI Transactions are not eligible).

Take an addon card within 90 days

Yes but only for blood relatives or family age above 18

Balance transfer (min 10K) from other bank credit card within 90 days

Yeah pay any other bank credit card minimum 10k dues with your credit card limit (*charges applicable)

Paying any other bank credit card dues with your credit card limit.
