I was charged extra 1 percent even after approving base amount

recently i did a transaction on Axis Magnus. However in the app the transaction is showing with 1% extra charge. I received the approval OTP and payment confirmation also with base amount. But the axis is showing it with 1% extra. Shall I complain? And where?

This is related to a particlular transaction only.

It’s the merchant who is charging. The merchant has recently started charging. There was 2-3 gateways available, in 2 of them the charge was showing but not showing in 1 gateway, hence i opted for that gateway. But they have charged extra amount.

Then you can take it up with your card issuing bank.

it’s not related to Magnus. It’s about the merchant. The merchant (fuel transaction) has started charging surcharge but the same should be there on their OTP message and payment screen.

Yes I have Hp wallet accepted company owned outlet which takes amex card too
Yes once I had more than 5k on icici tag which I paid via the Hp app
How r u getting fastag recharge offers
I am using icici for last 3 months didn’t come across any such

Tataneu recharge offers work with ICICI fastag. Park+ has ongoing offers for fastag - 10% off with several CC. There are several other options also. All such offers work fine with ICICI fastag.

Tata neu I used Amex for loading yesterday no offers but 6 times 1k each it permitted that itself I get 1000 points in amex
Park plus let me explore it
