Do you think you have a regular ICICI Bank credit card and an Amazon Pay ICICI Bank credit card with two different credit limits?
Actually, you are mistaken... ICICI Bank offers only one credit account for all its credit cards.
But because of different reward systems, you might get a different per-card limit on your ICICI Bank Amazon Pay Credit Card.
For example,
Suppose you have 3 ICICI Bank credit cards,
ICICI Amazon Pay Card with 4L limit.
ICICI Coral Credit Card with 8L limit
ICICI Sapphiro Credit Card with 8L limit
Now, on the iMobile app, you’ll see that Coral and Sapphiro card limits are shared, and the Amazon Pay card’s limit is different than that of the other two.
So if you use 2L from your Coral card, the available credit limit will automatically become 6L on your Sapphiro credit card. But you'll not see any change in the available limit on your Amazon Pay Card.
But actually, you can spend a maximum of 8L using all your ICICI Bank credit cards, including Amazon Pay Card.
The maximum credit limit on any ICICI Bank card is the aggregate total credit limit.
You can't transfer the credit limit from your Amazon Pay card to a regular ICICI Bank card or vice versa. But you can request ICICI Bank to remove the per card limit and match the credit limit on Amazon Pay and regular ICICI Bank credit cards.
For this, you need to send an email to ICICI Bank & request them to match your Amazon Pay card limit with ICICI regular cards or vice versa.
The required email ID is available here- All Bank Credit Card Department Email ID & Phone No

My Case-
My ICICI Bank Emeralde Credit Card's limit is 10L and My Amazon Pay Card limit was 5.7L
I requested ICICI Bank to remove per-card limit.
Now, my Amazon Pay card limit is 10L.

i now have 7L limit in apay and 3L in coral. So even if i get auto limit increase in coral later to lets say 5L it will be useless right since i can already use upto 7L in coral now.
Also do u think removing per card limit will affect chances of auto limit enhancement later

No, I don't think this will affect auto LE. Because ICICI opens only 1 credit account for all the credit cards, hence the limit is always combined. You currently have 7 lac credit limit from ICICI, forget about per card limit. So, I would suggest you to go ahead!

Limit enhancement on your Apay card is a different thing, that's a coincidence it came at the same time as you mailed for per card limit removal.

And what they meant is for all ICICI cards you hold, you only have a single credit account with ICICI. So, you can spend upto the max limit on any of your card irrespective of what's shown to you. Hence, it's a combined limit for all cards. If you use part of that limit, you can only transact for the remaining amount.

Yes, I understand that the limit enhancement was a mere coincidence. I was only reporting the updates.

This works. Can confirm as my Coral’s limit has been removed and matched to my Amazon Pay’s. I mailed customer care (total noobs, imo don’t bother mailing them), head service quality and I received a call sounded promising and twitter dm against which I received a call too. They sounded promising as well. So now I’ve equal limits. Thanks to Sumanta Da and Technofino blogs.
Tip: Keep sending repetitive to and fro mails or communication. First time may not be lucky.

Mail mat karo Twitter pe DM karo 🙂

Thanks man. This worked. After 4 separate emails to ICICI customer care, they did not budge. But one Twitter DM and within 2 days they increased/matched my Platinum card limit to that of Amazon Pay. Now both shows 490k (from 330k earlier) in the imobile app.

I did receive a call from their team that we have received your twitter DM and we will process the request in 2 days but it happened within 2 hours.
