ICICI - AMAZON PAY Credit Card - RENEWED

Today received the RENEWED CREDIT CARD from ICICI-AMAZON PAY.

Bearing the SAME NUMBER - surprised. The validity is given till 12/31.

The existing card was given in 12/2020. And, I did 757 transactions till date,
amounting to Rs 27,50,202.31. Cashback earned was Rs 34,314.65.

Very happy with the card.

Yes. Really surprised.

That’s the FIRST time I had received a RENEWED CARD.

Till now, I never held any card till it's expiry - all my previously closed 37 cards were SURRENDERED when they were still usable.

RECENTLY - MORE SURPRISES

Surrendered Jio Card had NO CVV.

The VIRTUAL Visa Scapia and
the PHYSICAL Visa Scapia had
the SAME number but different CVV.

Is there any bank or CC which provides a different card number or network (Visa/MC/Rupay) during auto renewal?
Asking to increase my knowledge.

I know about SBI debit cards and some other DCs; they don't give the same number/network.

In credit card renewal, number always same in every bank ( only condition if bank discontinued card or card network variant than they give other card or other network variant than card number change otherwise no change in number)


In case of debit card renewal, number always change in every bank
