ICICI Bank Accelero Credit Card will be discontinued

As per mail received today, ICICI Bank is discontinuing the Accelero Credit Card. It will replaced by 15th April'24 as per them.

Thats right, Accelero is the 2nd card they are discontinuing. Hopefully ye bhi next year nipat jayega.

I haven't received any such emails for my Accelero card, let see.

received SMS that the card will be cancelled by 30th June and will be replaced by HPCL Super Saver Card.


My previous card was replacement of LTF Ferrari card and was LTF and the SMS says the HPCL card will be FYF.



I own Rupay Coral, Rubyx and Sapphiro all LFT, while this HPCL is lower category than above cards still not LTF specially when it is being offered as replacement of a LTF card 🙁

Bank is only offering me some HPCL card and not considering any request/threat/demand for another card.


I will take LTF platinum instead but they are not willing.

Its going to FYF only. They aren't giving any other card. In case if you don't want HPCL one you can ask them to not issue any replacement card to you. Thats our only option.

I tried everything even asked for Platinum but they said "NO"


RM is useless first time realising HDFC is better than ICICI in customer service 😬

You can try some twitter method to get platinum which is LTF and latter close this one as its FYF, so you have a year to decide.

Rewrds on ICICI cards are very poor but they have lots of bank discounts on various site year round.

I called on the number which was in the SMS to stop issuing HPCL card for me its still showing Accelero.
