Icici bank calling to verify debit card transactions?

I have done transaction of 7k through my debit card. This is the first time I have saw any bank contacting customers to verify transaction over ivr.?

So far ICICI has called to verify every forex transaction I've done at late night. Got a call from a real agent once when I booked flight tickets at 4 in the morning with my dad's SBI credit card.

Today I received call from sbi too

Same with paytm.
If you pay credit card bill on paytm via icici debit card, there are high chances of getting a confirmation call

I also got a call from HDFC agent for a 13k UPI transfer. It was a self account transfer.

I booked 9 flight tickets in splits via mmt using sbi cashback card and they called me each time.
