ICICI bank Emirates Emeralde Credit Card

Anyone know a easy way to apply for ICICI Bank Emirates Emeralde credit card? I have been trying to apply for it from a while but the customer care executive mentioned 3Lac/pm salary credit is required to get this card approved.

Anyone got this card without this eligibility criteria?

No need for the 2l/month salary criteria. ICICI will force you for a lower variant and tell that if you do high value transactions then they'll upgrade to Sapphiro but they'll never offer LTF.
I did not accept any pre-approved card until LTF sapphiro offer came. They refresh their internal credit data every quarter. An average balance of 10L in savings account over the last quarter period is what got me LTF sapphiro.

10L alright ...any other ways?

Not sure whether it is true but I randomly applied for a CC on ICICI online card application module and got an LTF offer for skywards emerald. Did the Video KYC too just now (around midnight) let's see whether it was a gimmick or something else

Wife's ITR was less than 8L when applied for her card and got approval for the same.

This is what the ICICI RM told me, if the customer doesnt meet the salary criteria.

Saw that while applying online. Since today morning I can see the card in iMobile app. Let's see if it is actual LTF when it gets delieverd.

if you apply through the banks portal for emirates emralde before logging in it will charge you 10k in the first statement

If it showed you LTF when applying online, it will indeed be LTF only! The welcome kit or approval mail/sms does not mention that the card is LTF. One way to confirm is upon generation of the first card statement where no joining fee will be charged (indicating LTF status of the card).

By the way, by any chance you have the screenshots of the card offers shown while applying online? This can definitely throw light on what card variants and pricing ICICI is currently offering. This may help community members choose and select cards, accordingly.

Unfortunately I didn't take the screen shot. But I remember it displayed 9-12 cards. Surprisingly few basic / intermediate ones were with joining fee and annual fee. But 2-3 were LTF included emirates emerald. Video KYC guy didn't had any clue on LTF because he was from different team altogether.

One peculiar thing as well here. The icici online system used ANUMATI aggregator to fetch my salary details from hdfc salary account 🙂 quite seamless process. I saw this type of integration for first time.

Yes, even I opted for Anumati aggregator (I think there was 1 more aggregator apart from Anumati). It certainly is seamless, helps automate and removes unnecessary exercise of manual discretions over the salary slips or IT returns!
