ICICI Bank Sapphiro Credit Card Lifetime Free Under Alumni Program : Full Details And Application Link

Here's how it went for me :

-> Filled the form on Dec 3rd , got a call back on Dec 4th.

-> Was asked details for filling in the application on call , and was asked for confirmation through SMS for a cibil enquiry.

-> Was given a link on mail and sms for the video kyc , and within the documents section , instead of payslips , I was specifically asked to give in the degree cert and then proceed to Video kyc.

-> got the cards delivered , both mc and amex on Dec 8th.

-> Dreamfolks card is in for arrival today i.e the 9th of Dec.

I couldn't find my college name in the Alumni list. But I heard there are many other college who is eligible for the Alumni offer. Whom should I mail and confirm
 
My ICICI Cards were dispatched on 6th December, yet to be received due to Delhivery courier services.
My Dreamfolks Card was dispatched on 7th December and received on 8th December by Blue Dart.
It seems Delhivery is returning my courier as the courier is moving back as per track status.
What should I do now?

Don't worry, once the card reaches back, bank will call for re dispatch.

What if we already have icici cards but with lesser limit? Then the limit will be increased and matched to 3Lakh or still same existing limit shared even with the sapphiro cards ?

Because I applied today for Sapphiro under alumni and got VKYC completed. I have apay and coral with a shared limit of 50k.

Will update regarding the limit in my case if application accepted.

They will increase shared limit to 3L if approved

nope, unless you are NTB. Then you can get rejected based on credit worthiness.
If you hold existing CC with ICICI. Chances of rejection are very rare (Can't promise, but it's super rare). I mean by actual rejection, many people get Rejection SMS but after writing to alumnicc email, get the Card approved, I also was in same situation.
 
I got pre-approved Coral CC in 2020 being a student of a premier institute in 2020 but I couldn't pay dues at that time because my payments were stuck due to COVID at that time and applied for a moratorium scheme by RBI. (CIBIL went below 600)
Had to pay a lot of penalties but cleared all dues and paid an extra ₹11.
Got 129 credited as that was charged interest on interest during COVID.
The card was closed by ICICI and my ₹140 is still stuck.
Recently got this email.
I had applied for Platinum Chip CC in APR 2023 but that was rejected. (My history with ICICI might be the reason)
So now I am almost NTB but got a 3 lakh limit.
Will try to get this money back.

Wrote mail to Alumni Team and Head Credit Cards asking for Reason of Rejection.

Received Approval Text today and Card reflecting in iMobile.Dual Variant it is🙂🙂
