ICICI Core eligibility with co-branded

My mother got a call for LTF Icici credit card. It was a HPCL Coral card on Amex platform, but we took it anyway since no one in our family holds an icici credit card. Will this credit card be a hurdle for core upgrades in the future, like HDFC not allowing core cards if you hold a co branded card?

After few days refer pre approved section u will get rupay coral card ltf

Yes card will be issued on split/ shared limit
My first icici card is apay after that I got icici platinum and then rubyx ltf

Okay that's great to know, thought I made a mistake asking her to take the co branded card which was amex on top
