I do not have a high itr but i have a decent trv...not in single acc but family banking of 1cr and above. We are under private banking program.. But my rm and bm was able to get me icici emerald approval so if u have a good rm or bm they can do it.
I had got approvals earlier last yr but i was persistent for fyf atleast (bcuz i already hold infinia) but now after ishop im ok with taking it paid also. I already hold emerald plastic ltf but there is a reward rate diff 😂 and i have already hit around 7L spends this financial yr on HDFC so needed 1 more card for atleast base 3% rp.
It took about 3-4 days only to get the required approvals. My bm had told me to connect with my private banking rm to do it as they can easily get approvals. I havent got the card yet but yesterday only my bm called me around 8pm suddenly and told me they have got it approvals in like 3~ days xD will update here once i receive the card
I know my bm from 2017 when he was my rm for few years... Ppl who are on private banking can easily get the card via their rm provided the rm has the idea with whom to connect and where to mail etc..
Tbh it all depends on the approach of the rm and bm..
