ICICI Family banking online - possible or not?

Hi, I’m looking to open a ICICI account online for my brother.
I’m already on a Zero MAB account.

So I’m thinking of opening his online with the lowest possible variant, and then linking to my family banking via Netbanking/Imobile

Is it possible to do both new account opening and then linking under family to make it Zero MAB - completely online?

Don’t want to visit branch at all, and the nearby branch is totally useless.

And then I can add via Netbanking? I’m on Wealth Zero MAB, so the new opened account once linked will become Zero MAB, right?

I think they have stopped conversions to family banking after recent revamp of account features.
Confirm with branch folks before opening (PS: do let me know if they convert am in a similar boat but branch is too far to go there)

Check your iMobile or NB if you have the option to link under family banking, select the account variant and process.

Yes, it will be a zero balance, but confirm via email from them, so if any charges are charged. You can get a refund.

If you want to link under wealth to make it 0 MAB then it may be possible I was talking about family 360 account conversion of normal account my bad there.
