Devaluation ICICI Free No-Cost EMI Cancellation is DEAD! Applicable from 1st May, 2025

So, it is written that they will charge 3% of principal + GST. I was looking to buy Oneplus 13 with 12 month NC EMI which gives 5051 interest savings with 56947 as the initial payment. Now even if they charge me 3% forclosure charges plus GST, it comes around 2K rupeers. So I am still getting a benefit of 3K rupees. Am I understanding this right or something missing?

Hi, did you buy it using NC EMI? I am also in the same boat planning to buy OP13.

Please let me know how much you got charged and all, if you have bought it.

Thanks!

If I understand it correctly, the no cost emi trick wouldn't work for short term NCEMI because of the 3% foreclosure charge + 1 month interest.
But would still be beneficial for longer term NCEMI like 12 or 18 or 24 months ?
The NCEMI discount is not reversed so paying 3-4% in foreclosure is still cheaper than 18-24 mobth interest which is around 16% for 24 months approx.

Am I right?
