ICICI Sapphiro Dual to Visa

Anyone recently was able to convert ICICI LTF Sapphiro Dual to Visa variant?

I have tried both email and Twitter route for getting amex card as I only have MC sapphiro (when I applied, amex was not issued).

Both of the routes were unsuccessful. Twitter support said close the card and apply again. But my existing card is LTF and I'm not sure if I close it and get the new one, will it be LTF or paid.

maybe you can try this
ask them to convert it to VISA variant first
after some time ask them to convert it to dual variant, then you should get the AMEX card
also, pls check if there's a time limit in between each conversion and decide accordingly
