ICICI Sapphiro Visa/MC to Rupay Conversion is Active Now

Hi everyone, I contacted ICICI customer care and itseems Saphhiro Visa/MC to Rupay conversion is active now. But they are saying that they will cancel existing card/s. I have asked to provide it as an additional LTF card. Lets see. SS attached.


If they do not agree for additional, would it make sense converting and cancelling existing variants?

Update 1: They rejected to provide additional Rupay variant.
"We regret to inform you that as per the bank policy we are unable to provide multiple variants as lifetime free or chargeable."

Update 2: Customer Care informed that Sapphiro Rupay is being issued in Platinum Variant.

Calls are recorded, but on their end, you don't have any proof on your end. Banks have 1000s of employees, it's impossible to figure out that specific agent who mis-sold you. In the end, bank will simply apologise.

Bro once card is approved and sanctioned I would receive a mail saying LTF card, if not I will ask to receive a mail, I will only activate the card after receiving the mail.

Maybe I am not getting what you are trying to say! In the starting, I didn’t get any mails for pre-approved credit card on my profile, I got the call from the icici cc numbers and he told me after asking my pan and dob and rest credentials about the LTF cards of Rubyx and Sapphiro with which I got excited and said yes. I asked about the LTF mail they said it will arrive once final card approval
