ICICI Savings account without Initial Funding (Online)

I have ICICI Credit card with 4.6L Limit. So get the Privilege Banking Logo on Net banking. Today I saw a option to open ICICI Savings account online from iMobile app.

Just like this SS. But In my case "No Initial Funding Required" and no mention of MAB. Can you check if you are getting the same ?

I think you got it because of your CC limit exceeding their min. limit requirement. They are advertising it officially on their site (refer to Annexure I in the T&C).

Exactly the customer having credit limit of more than 4 Lakh acts as surrogate & customer can avail zero balance account. To confirm one can call the customer care & they will tell the same.

Officially it's the rule. But TF members told me that online account opening is risky (High Failure Chances). And in the offline route they are not opening a Savings account (Getting no commision as User ID is already created). Even if they are willing to open a account they are asking for a initial funding more than 1L.
