Hi all,

Can anyone please confirm whether IDBI Bank is providing LTF Credit Card for Non Account Holders ? I know only LIC variants are available as LTF but they are issuing this card to their employees only. Kindly confirm.

Only account holders of IDBI bank can apply for the IDBI Credit cards. Even the account should be at least 6 months old to apply for the IDBI credit card.

Regarding LIC Cards, one can apply for LIC cards using offline channel if the person fulfils any one of the following conditions.

1. Person is an employee of LIC or LIC HFL
2. Person is an LIC Agent
3. Person is an LIC Policy holder

If you satisfy any one of the aforementioned conditions you will be able to apply for LIC Cards.

Also, LIC has tie-ups with IDBI and Axis for issuing their co branded cards, most of the LIC agents are inclined towards taking the request for Axis co branded cards and not IDBI ones. As process for applying Axis cards are streamlined and incentives for agent are high in case of Axis cards, for IDBI process is bit cumbersome.

Could you please describe LIC IDBI Bank Credit Card application elaborately through Offline Channel?

You need to visit your nearest LIC Branch to get to know about the person/agent who takes care of LIC Cards, LIC branches don't deal with LIC cards directly, however they have the contact details of the agents who can process the LIC card request.

You need to reach out to the agent recommended by the LIC branch, there is an offline form which the agent will fill on your behalf, he will also be needing following documents to process your application.

1. Your last three months salary slips (if you are salaried) or ITR from last 2 years (if you are an entrepreneur)
2. Bank statement of last three months
3. Your passport size photograph
4. Copy of Address Proof
5. Copy of Identity Proof
6. Copy of your LIC policy

Agent will submit your application and then the wait starts, if everything goes fine your application would be approved in 15-20 days and you will receive the card in a month.

IDBI are issuing cards to non account holders. I have applied through one of their branch . Royale signature card is their best LTF offering.
