Identity Theft - Loan applied using my address

Today evening , a Loan Recovery agent came to my address and Asked for some "Shiva" living at my address , whereas nobody by that name lives in my property .
When i looked at the agent's list , Name written was "Shiva" and the address was mine ! His phone number wasn't picking up for obvious reasons . Although the agent assured me that we will mark this as an incorrect address . Should I report this at Police that someone used my address in a Personal Loan ? Should I be taking any action ?

Also , When I enquired which bank loan was it , the agent said "Dhani Loan"

RBI should take strict action against Dhani.
You should contact local police station and file a complaint as a precaution measure

Check if your pan card is used for loan....

Better raise a cyber complaint. If possible intform to Dhani

Complain to cyber crime, bank's PNO, and do a FIR immediately. It's not only Dhani, a friend of mine got same issue with ICICI bank credit card. Almost 3 weeks, still not resolved yet.

I would highly recommend to take action against Dhani as someone else have opted for card and used your details. Also, do credit freeze on your reports so that no one try to add new accounts.

She is celebrity and has huge influence on others. So, Dhani resolved Sunny issues asap. But, they are not resolving consumer complaints asap as they don't have influence and want to do proper due diligence.
