IDFC application rejection. Secured to unsecured? Pre-approval chances?

In the IDFC portal I was offered Mayura Metal, Ashva, FIRST Power+ and Millennia. (They gave a soft limit of 40K, which was really low)

I tried to apply for IDFC Millennia C2C with HDFC Millennia (2L) as a self-employed 3L, but they rejected my application because they couldn't verify the office address, ie my home. Physical verification was done, and the verification agent said it was fine and told them the business was fully online, but it still got rejected.
  1. Should I get a secured card, ie FIRST EA₹N Virtual and then get an unsecured card. Can you hold both secured and unsecured for IDFC and can I manually apply for unsecured? What's the process for secured to unsecured?
  2. I pay my CC bills from IDFC and have spends of close to 70K on the DC per month. Acc opened in Nov (3M old). Is there a timeline for pre-approval?
  3. Is there a benefit in applying as a student? Is IDFC liberal in that way?
  4. The customer service agent said there isn't a cooling period and you can apply right away, but is subject to internal company policy💩. Forums say min 3M. But 6M is recommended. Is this true?

Solution
I got a message today saying preapproved. 42K limit. No enquiry. I was offered Mayura Metal, Ashva, FIRST Power+ and Millennia. Card already showing in app.
PS - I first ignored the message (Mar 1st) because I thought it was marketing. I think it was preapproved because I spent 1L+ on the debit card last month.

Ek cc lo
Service area pe
Then cancel it in 1-2 month

Wait for pre approved ( if u working try office verification)

I'm planning on taking secured for around 3M and 5K FD is pretty doable.
So I can't get unsecured without closing FD cards?
I'm a student and self employed part time.
Bro
Idfc cc at service area means u will get pre approved as it's services area
So no verification

U can get lucky after 6 month or year no one knows algorithm

Solution
I also got IDFC Wealth CC Pre-approved with 3L limit

But inspite pre-approved they are doing application verification and have asked to wait for 10 days, what a pre-approved joke 🤣
Is the card showing up In the app?
My application was Millennia was rejected last month because of office verification fail. But home verification was a success. I think they took that KYC for pre-approved.
