IDFC First Bank launched its debit card reward system recently. Now you'll earn reward points for spending money using your IDFC First Bank debit card.

Reward system for IDFC First Bank normal debit card-
2000 welcome reward points on IDFC First normal debit card transaction above Rs. 1000

Online transaction- earn 2 reward points for every Rs. 150 spend
Offline transaction- earn 1 reward point for every Rs. 150 spend
10X reward points (10 reward points per Rs. 150) for every Rs. 150 spent via debit card on incremental spends above Rs. 50,000 in a month.

IDFC First Bank Select debit card reward system-
4000 welcome reward points on first debit card transaction above Rs. 1000
Online transaction- earn 3 reward points for every Rs. 150 spend
Offline transaction- earn 2 reward point for every Rs. 150 spend
10X reward points (10 reward points per Rs. 100) for every Rs. 100 spent via debit card on incremental spends above Rs. 50,000 in a month.

IDFC First Bank Wealth debit card reward system-
8000 welcome reward points on first debit card transaction above Rs. 1000
Online transaction- earn 4 reward points for every Rs. 150 spend
Offline transaction- earn 3 reward point for every Rs. 150 spend
10X reward points (10 reward points per Rs. 100) for every Rs. 100 spent via debit card on incremental spends above Rs. 50,000 in a month.

IDFC First Bank Private debit card reward system-
20,000 welcome reward points on first debit card transaction above Rs. 1000
Online transaction- earn 6 reward points for every Rs. 150 spend
Offline transaction- earn 4 reward point for every Rs. 150 spend
10X reward points (10 reward points per Rs. 100) for every Rs. 100 spent via debit card on incremental spends above Rs. 50,000 in a month.

Exclusions: Payment to Mutual Funds, Insurance, Financial Institutions, Security Brokers, Dealers, Wallet Uploads, Quasi Cash, ATM Withdrawals, Credit Card Payments and Account Transfers transactions are not a part of FIRST Rewards program, Please refer to the TnC page for specific Merchant Codes that are excluded.

1 reward point = Rs. 0.25

Note: You'll earn core reward points depending on your debit card variant, along with the 10X points.

A monthly reward point accrual capping will be applicable based on user’s program membership. (w.e.f. 1st December 2023)

Just Learned that MCC you can also Ask transaction monitoring team, the confirmation call which comes after a BIG transaction.
Skip the IVR by not responding to it and Executive will pick the call, ask him the MCC before confirming tx. @VISHESH_BANSAL @jack333
So I emailed IDFC to confirm few Big CC Payment Transaction's MCC, Later after Confirming Eligible MCCs made new email mentioning all those Eligible Transactions, with there MCC reply Emailed Attached. W/o asking further Proof they Credited the Points. :). But now FK Sale is over ;(
 
No idea whats the deal but i have made 6 payment in a row to same card by idfc dc.
Important thing was on payment page merchant name was acceylt solutions ( spell error) but when Notification form idfc came about Debit ..it was freecharge payment Tec122002 .
Earlier when i got reward for cc payment via this method was it came as freecharge merchant techno

I paid my cc bills via freecharge today (did more than 10 txns in a row) and got merchant name as FREECHARGE PAYMENT TEC in sms.

What are the categories that doesn’t earn reward points?
One of the top most frauds bank inspite I am original shareholder cum account holder all senior officer had forged clients signature even if we prove neither the chief compliance officer nor nodal officer prepare to hear this is the frauds
 
What I've seen is on utility mcc idfc are crediting points automatically for small transactions less than 1k within a day. For larger transactions we have to raise manual request after 15 days

For how many days you have analysed ? For large transactions? & did you received points yesterday or today?
