My rewards account is blocked and they asked me questions about transactions. I had a long call with branch manager and all the questions asked were silly like why are you using park+ a lot, what is the purpose etc.

I have written to nodal and most probably would redeem rewards and close my entire wealth relationship with idfc. These guys need a lesson, one of the worst banks, their reward system is messed up.
When were you blocked? Forget redeeming now they never unblocks . I am blocked since nov 2023 complained many times still blocked

Dont raise complaint - if you raise any complaints regularly regarding to RPs then they will start scrutinize your entire RP statment unnecessarily and may ask proper validation regarding transactions !
i already raised twice for reward points..... I just mention it's MCC code is 4900 ... So I'm eligible for reward points.... Then they proceed my request...

Okay I'll not raise complaint again for it

on what basis they blocked? asking to be cautious on what not to do

I got points for 4th March transaction, but did not get points for 23rd and 28th feb transactions. All are Parkplus IO named and >15K. Weird way of crediting points!

Is doing 4-5 transactions worth 30k each on Park+ (cc bill pay) per month constitute to overuse in case of IDFC DC and cause blockage?

Probably yes.
Going by the posts here, IDFC Wealth CC, DC seem to flag txns for the same merchant with same amount. One of the member mentioned that for his IDFC CC before making any txn to the same merchant s/he would use it for other txns. I guess this would be the same with DC too.

So, instead of 30K, transact like 29,950, 29,890 ... and if possible use the DC for some other merchant in between ... like 10rs AGV.

Now they have stopped giving the base 4x rewards for transactions after 50k like earlier they used to credit both base and bonus rewards for every transaction. Now they are giving only 10x rewards after 50k. Earlier I used to request them to manually credit 4x base rewards but they've totally stopped even manually crediting those from this month

you got 14x points on spends >50k before?

For me IDFC debit card stopped giving rewards for Park+ transactions (merchant was shown as Parkplus IO).

Last month it was random for getting rewards on Park+. But for the two transactions so far, no reward points were credited.

Snapay is giving rewards but only 2k/month is limit for DC payments. Now testing on SBI unipay.

Are there any other remaining platforms for CC billpay where IDFC DC is giving rewards?
Just got the RPs for Park+ transactions of last month. Seems IDFC is taking TAT of 14 working days for large transactions while for small transactions the RPs get credited within a few days. Also got points for SBI unipay transaction I did 2 days back.

So for now Park+, Snapay and SBI Unipay transactions are giving rewards with IDFC dc.

Don't do more than 2 consecutive transactions from the same merchant. Alternate between Park+, Snapay and SBI Unipay along with any other merchants to avoid getting blocked by IDFC systems.

Also I use the small Park+ wallet amount like 5rs 2rs etc to make the amount not exactly rounded to 30k to avoid the flagging of transaction as repeated. 😉
