IDFC First Bank launched its debit card reward system recently. Now you'll earn reward points for spending money using your IDFC First Bank debit card.

Reward system for IDFC First Bank normal debit card-
2000 welcome reward points on IDFC First normal debit card transaction above Rs. 1000

Online transaction- earn 2 reward points for every Rs. 150 spend
Offline transaction- earn 1 reward point for every Rs. 150 spend
10X reward points (10 reward points per Rs. 150) for every Rs. 150 spent via debit card on incremental spends above Rs. 50,000 in a month.

IDFC First Bank Select debit card reward system-
4000 welcome reward points on first debit card transaction above Rs. 1000
Online transaction- earn 3 reward points for every Rs. 150 spend
Offline transaction- earn 2 reward point for every Rs. 150 spend
10X reward points (10 reward points per Rs. 100) for every Rs. 100 spent via debit card on incremental spends above Rs. 50,000 in a month.

IDFC First Bank Wealth debit card reward system-
8000 welcome reward points on first debit card transaction above Rs. 1000
Online transaction- earn 4 reward points for every Rs. 150 spend
Offline transaction- earn 3 reward point for every Rs. 150 spend
10X reward points (10 reward points per Rs. 100) for every Rs. 100 spent via debit card on incremental spends above Rs. 50,000 in a month.

IDFC First Bank Private debit card reward system-
20,000 welcome reward points on first debit card transaction above Rs. 1000
Online transaction- earn 6 reward points for every Rs. 150 spend
Offline transaction- earn 4 reward point for every Rs. 150 spend
10X reward points (10 reward points per Rs. 100) for every Rs. 100 spent via debit card on incremental spends above Rs. 50,000 in a month.

Exclusions: Payment to Mutual Funds, Insurance, Financial Institutions, Security Brokers, Dealers, Wallet Uploads, Quasi Cash, ATM Withdrawals, Credit Card Payments and Account Transfers transactions are not a part of FIRST Rewards program, Please refer to the TnC page for specific Merchant Codes that are excluded.

1 reward point = Rs. 0.25

Note: You'll earn core reward points depending on your debit card variant, along with the 10X points.

A monthly reward point accrual capping will be applicable based on user’s program membership. (w.e.f. 1st December 2023)

How to redeem- You can redeem your reward points against gift vouchers, flight booking, recharge, etc.

Did my debit card transaction last week . Didn't get reward points. It has to be firsr every transaction? Debit card 2 years old

18/Jul: SBI Card Portal CC Bill Payment (₹1350)
22/Jul: BookMyShow (₹409)
24/Jul: BookMyShow (₹397)
24/Jul: Phonepe (₹150)

None of the transaction have fetched me points!!

Any Wealth DC customer help needed !!

Myself and my mywife both have wealth debit cards, I have got all the rewards as mentioned but my wife has not got any rewards till now, can't understand these IDFC people.

You try at your end through ur wife's phone and I am trying here!!

Call IDFC Customer care and ask them to transfer your call to Firstrewards department. They have same dept for CC & DC rewards program. They'll easily understand your query. Basic customer care people don't know much about it.

I was told 7 working days when time was remaining after completion of 7working days they are saying there was a technical problem for all the transactions done on 18th July, I didn't buy this explanation and told him you could have told me about the technical problem when I called before completion of 7 days. I feel they are still not ready with their rewards system.

Currently on call with First Rewards Team, they are saying to wait for 07 working days.
When I told them what about 18th July transaction, now she's investigating the same 😕
Don't know how they are so stupid about their own reward points.

Better to use HDFC, IndusInd & RBL instead of IDFC, when it will get sorted then we may move.

True, we don't have accounts in these other banks and don't want to open more accounts so we are sticking with them and hoping things will get better as the reward structure is very good implementation may take some more time.

Customer Service Executive raised one complaint for RPs not credited for 18th July transaction!! @Chaitanya-a
