Anybody knows about the logic for IDFC PLATINUM PLUS salary account reward point structure for Debit card?

It says :
"

Get up to 10X Reward Points on your Debit Card transactions

  • 2000 points worth ₹500 on your first Debit Card transaction
  • 1X Reward Point on every ₹150 spent offline (POS)
  • 2X Reward Points on every ₹150 spent online (E-Com)
  • 10X Accelerated Reward Points on incremental monthly spends above ₹20K, ₹100K, ₹150K & ₹200K

    1x = 1 reward point per ₹150 spend & 1 reward point = ₹0.25
"

So is 10x applicable above 20K?

Anybody got any idea on this??

Thanks!

one can even select credit card while paying bills and still get 250 pts. I got it for postpaid bill.
Yes, but why will you pay using the IDFC Bill payment portal? It will not give you anything extra other than 250 RPs.
Basic Calculation:
When you pay Re1 then also you get Rs.62.5(250 RPs)
for example, if you pay a Postpaid Bill(Considering non-Airtel Connection) of 800 using Rupay Platinum DC you get a 100 instant discount, 12.5% Profit, and for Airtel that goes much higher via Airtel.
Even if you use an Apay card you get 2% CB on Amazon

I paid jio postpaid of 350, i had no other smaller bill than this. And I used CC coz interest free time nothing else.

and I have noticed if you pay bill with cc, reward pts are given but somehow they are linked to CC not to account so when you redeem the pts.

So let's say you have 8000 pts, out of which 7750 is of Savings acc, and 250 pts of CC then when you redeem, both account CC CC will get 99+gst fee. Correct me here if i am wrong.

Also chk DM bro, asked u a Q few days back

Yes, as you have used CC 250 will be credited to the First rewards portal and CC spends points will be credited under cc rewards. Both will be credited differently.
Your billing doesn't matter let's say your SBI CC bill is 20K just fetch the bill, modify the amount to 1, and pay via your account you will get 250 points. Rest pay via any other platform where you can get RPs.
Yes, 99+GST will be charged twice once for the First Rewards Portal and another for CC Rewards redemption.
Check your DM I replied just now. I missed your last message.

I haven't gotten into rupay platinum dc game yet, don't know much abt it, i know abt the amazon offer but i heard rupay plat is a chargable card no? also i tried to do it on jiofinance and did VKYC too but within few mins they blocked the card which i didn't even use, and i was too busy to fix or call jio or find out what happened so i gave up on rupay plat. I have SBI rupay virtual DC though that I use for amex billdesk payments every month, not sure if it's a plat though.

wait, is the 250 rp's for bill pay is diff for acc and cc? like if i do 1rs bill pay twice once with savings and one with cc, i can 250 x 2 = 500rp's? no right? correct me here. and thanks for letting me know that we can modify the amount in BBPS, I wasn't aware we can do this on IDFC app. Can we also do it in SBIUNIPAY? Damn I thought it's a fixed amount of bill generation and we have to pay full without modifications.

You will get only one doesn't matter which mode you use account or cc.

everywhere you can modify the amount, but you cannot pay more than the Total Amount Due in total or enter the amount more than TAD.

It's basically have the same reward structure of normal IDFC DC only catch is some incremental points and might have some high number of points threshold per month unlike normal DC 8000 RPs.
