ust an update for people who have kotak 811 super like me as I do cc payments only via idfc and kotak (I don't have hdfc, indusind and other dc's), I guess using kotak dc will be a better choice as it gives 500 rs for 10k payments compared to IDFC which gives 250pts(250/4 = 62rs?) or even if we get 10x pts for post 50k, so 10k payment will give 1000 pts which is 125 rs, where as kotak gives 500 , which is better than idfc for now?
Its 5% over 2.5%, so yes kotak is best for up to 10k. Also its a cashback which is credited without any charges.

What is 250 points for first bill paid in the month?
First CC bill payment via IDFC App.

I am not sure about Kotak, because I don't have the card and for me, IDFC is a better choice as I pay almost 1L a month.

I use IDFC too but kotak is limited to only 500 cashback and I have lakhs of bills to pay aswell. We can use kotak for 10k payment to get 500 cashback and then rest on idfc.

Even better if someone opens multiple acc's on kotak (wife/mother/dad/bro/gf acc) to get even more benefit and kotak gives pure cash, compared to idfc which gives pts in return one gives GV's whose value is anyways bad compared to amazon GV and 99 fee on top.

if I have 1L bills, I put 10k on kotak and rest on IDFC for now.
