That is only for IDFC CC's not for DC's unfortunately.

I just did a 10 rs trxn via my idfc wealth infinite card to my icici card with selecting "sbi debit card" but paid via idfc dc. Payment confirmation given by icici too via sms and net banking reflects the payment.

This is how it comes on my idfc debit card statement




And when i did payment on 21st jan to my card via sbi unipay 6 days back via "other" debit card This is how it comes on statement





So descriptors are different for both. I think one needs to check with IDFC for MCC code otherwise chances are that this might come under loan payments for which idfc doesn't give pts. I will try calling idfc now.

You can select SBI DC option and pay via IDFC or any other DC.

Are you new to all of this? Because your post suggesting so. Just click on transaction and then check despcription. Stop creating unnecessary hue n cry. It's a request.

Both the options at SBI were always leading to same page. The other bank DC are working by selecting any of option betweern the two since the day it was allowed. Now only other bank DC option disappeared. So keep using you non-SBI card in this.
