Yes it seems so. I did transaction of 1000 and points increased by 27. Increase happened in total balance. Redeemable balance remains same. So this is great feature now. Others also please check and confirm. If confirmed, this is great way ahead from earlier messy system of waiting for credit of reward point and some not done for months.

Yeah I also used card yesterday and see increase in reward points. But in old system we used to get complete breakupor history of points received per transaction which was very very helpful in tracking.

I hate doing this via mobile app.

Also I can see 2k points in old reward portal but in new it shows 16k points. No portal is showing the trail what point is for what.

In 24 hours virtual card will be generated.

Use that to pay CC bill via Phonepe.

Since it is a rupay platinum debit card, no charge for CC bill payment.

Also you get reward points as per your IDFC Bank programme.

But it's not worth it.

1) AGC cannot be redeemed with points as of now

2) Updating the app will make it impossible to track points in the new version.

Then go to reward portal (old version would not show the amazon vouchers)

Amazon pay voucher is not redeemable with gift points. Have to pay via cash.

Amazon shopping voucher and Flipkart voucher can be redeemed with reward points.

Browser version - I don't know bro.

Nop.. physical card will be delivered at your address in 7-10 days

It is an atypical card. Very small compared to normal DC

The physical card can be used for contactless payments only.

Also it has 1 complementary lounge access every 6 months. (No one has ever used that feature frankly).

Apply your 2nd IDFC debit card, Firstap RuPay debit card.

You will again get welcome rewards, for exmaple - 4k welcome rewards for select account.

you will also get base reward and 10x reward as per your Select account

use Firstap card on phonepe app and pay cc bill and no extra charges on RuPay. All details -

i got Points for TAP2PAY card but NO WELCOME BONUS OF 4000 POINTS...THAT IS MISSING...😒

Card name is firstap card not Tap2Pay card.

You will get welcome rewards within 45days. oNote - this is max time but you will get within few weeks.

Now transaction rewards are also credited instantly.

If you do 2nd transaction then high chance welcome rewards will credit or wait upto 45 days.

Redeemed 34000 rewards points for Flipkart voucher. The first transaction was successful also the gift voucher was received, the Second transaction was also successful but the get code option did not work. I tap many times on get code but no response. so call to IDFC Debit Card reward team but the lady said today no redemption was done in my account. She wants to confirm me from the old website. but I said from today IDFC reward portal has changed but she was clueless so I raised a callback request from her senior team member. After that, I called shopsta customer care and the lady confirmed that my order was under process and would be confirmed within 24 hours.
