IDFC Started Issuing Power+ as Second Card

Hi All,

IDFC has started issuing Power+ as second. This was not available before. Only IDFC Vistara was eligible as second. Now you can also apply for Power+ card with shared limit. Instant approval & virtual card available for existing IDFC customers. I got my card today morning.

Since I got the news that IDFC is offering Power+ as second card I tried applying from my primary number. (I hold a IDFC Wow Card with 1lakh limit) Whenever I tried applying, used to get an error message: "cannot proceed due to existing application" After this, I asked IDFC customer care ppl to delete any existing appl. linked on my number. But it didn't bear any fruits, I kept getting the same error.

Later, today I applied for this Power+ using my secondary number & boom.. my application was approved with INR 1,95,000/- limit! A enquiry from IDFC already reflected in my CIBIL.

Want to know a few things:-
1. Will the mobile number on my existing Wow Card be changed to the number I used for Power+ Card?
2a. If mobile number on existing card gets changed, I suppose I can change the number from the IDFC mobile application again to my primary number.
2b. If mobile number doesn't get changed on existing card and the new card is issued on my secondary number itself, what do I do? How can I match the mobile number on both my card's to my primary number?

As of now only via Branch you can change you Mobile Number in Credit Card.
Call customer care and check to which number your cards are linked and then visit Branch for doing necessary changes if any

Card generated today after in-person residence verification. Customer ID is same. They have linked my primary number as the primary number on this card and the number from which I applied (alternate number) as secondary number
Now, I was thinking of closing the WOW card and applying for SELECT CARD. Any advice?

Yes you can certainly go ahead, and cancel the Wow Card!!

That's why SCB titanium is an underrated card when it comes to fuel. I don't think any other card provides cashback for fuel irrespective of the fuel companies. Although the cashback is capped at 200 per month, it is hassle-free. Sometimes people might be in a hurry or just need the fuel to get going rather than doing all these checkings and calculations. They generally don't provide this card as LTF but if you call the CC they reverse the charges.

the first statement was generated for the power+ card used two times at the HP petrol pump for 1000 and 2500 Rs, only the fuel surge charge is waived off and nothing is given on fuel transactions on the HP petrol pump, no reward points no cashback.
What type of card is this?
