axis do not issue same cards u need to first close your paid myzone and then apply for ltf myzone, or mail them to change your card form paid to ltf

First ask them to make ltf.. may be they make it ltf.. rather than applying again

They made my MyZone card LTF when I raised a closure request. When the retention team called, I told them clearly that the card was now LTF for new customers, and there was no way I was going to pay for it.

I also got my card converted to LTF MyZone, through customer care transferred to retention team.

I made my pre-approved MyZone card from paid to LTF with 15 days of card arrival, luckily I got a decent limit of 1 lakh. So, I will recommend you to try one or two times again rather than closing and applying again.

There's a cooling period after you close a card of a certain bank (AFAIK). 3 or 6 months.

The cooling period is between two applications of opening a card, not between a closing and an opening.
