If you have Union bank credit card, Make sure you are getting your annual milestone reward points!

Some Union Bank of India credit cards are supposed to give reward points if you spend more than 1,25,000/1,50,000 in a year (Depending on the card veriant).

So, few weeks ago, while I was checking my reward points from Union Bank, I noticed that I hadn't gotten any milestone points for my credit card for last two years, even though according to my calculations I should have gotten them.

I checked my parents points too, since they also have Union Bank credit card and should have gotten the milestone points, but they didn't get any points too.

So I emailed Union Bank Credit card customer support and only after that did they now issue the points. I emailed from my perents email too and then they also got the points afterwards.

So, this is a reminder to anyone who has a Union Bank of India credit card to check if they are eligible for any annual milestone points for previous years and if they have received them or not. And If you haven't gotten any, then make an email to the Credit card customer support.

Because it looks like they aren't giving the milestone points if you don't email them about it.

I was not expecting anyone to spend even 1L using UBI cards but it seems you along with your family might have spent more than 2L/y.
Just curious where and why are you using UBI cards except for bank offers?

there was some instant discount offers running in between on mmt goibibo or some travel app as far as i remember

We had gotten Union bank credit card as our first credit card because we all had accounts with Union bank and used it then. We have other bank's cards now.

Still, the credit card from Union bank has the highest limit for all three of us. so we still use them if we need to make a large purchase on credit.

From that I have read on this site, Union bank has temporary stopped issuing new credit cards. If she doesn't already hold an Union bank credit card, I don't think she can't get it now. I don't know when they will start reissuing new cards again.

But if she already has another variant of Union bank card, she can email ccd.cardreplacement@unionbankofindia.bank and ask to convert her current credit card to the Divaa variant. That's what I did to get the Divaa variant for my mother.
