Inclusion of NIT Warangal in DCB LTF Alumini Program

Hi all

I would like to share to some positive service provided by PNO office of HDFC Credit Cards in December 2022. I hold Regalia Signature card since 2010 and want to upgrade to DCB LTF under alumini program. But the list I go do not have my college(NIT Warangal) but has 6 NIT's(3 above & 3 below NITW ranking). Initially after taking my request by Priorityredressal and providing all documents, they informed me that college cannot be included. I escalated the request till PNO and to my surprise, received positive response that process of inclusion of NIT Warangal has started and asked me contact after Jan 4 2023. They offered CL LE from my existing 4.2 L to 6.5 L(basis my income doc) in the interim(which I did not ask for).

When I dropped mail after Jan 4,2023 the process was very smooth and I got DCB LTF card by Jan 12 2023. Guy from Product Development Team called me and requested to circulate the message that NIT Warangal is included for DCB LTF offer and they will reply within 7 working days after filling the form. I am enclosing docs provided by HDFC Team. Kindly circulate in all relevant groups.

This is great news 🙂. Thanks for sharing. I tried to get DCB LTF in Oct 2022 and the request was declined stating that NIT Warangal is not in the list. I will re-try and ask them for upgrade.

Actually I was not in contact with anyone. Just email correspondence with PNO office. This guy called me after my card upgrade as it is their team which worked on my request.

First emailed to grievance redressal and then escalated to PNO after receiving reply from greivance redressal cell.

My card is upgraded to Diners Black LTF(have mailed them to get double confirmation for LTF) under alumni program(NIT Warangal). My Credit limit was 4.75 lakh and even after card upgrade it's still 4.75lakh. I heard before that Diners black is not issued below 5 lakh credit limit.

No idea. I just mailed to Grievance.Redressalcc@hdfcbank.com stating I have DCP and want to upgrade to Diners black LTF as per Alumni program. Then they replied back to provide with some consent. I just mentioned I consent for all their questions and attached my degree certificate. They didn't ask for anything. No salary slip, no ITR nothing.

And they have replied it's LTF.

I will let you know when I check through some free 3rd party apps. The limit has not increased so I don't think they should be any cibil hit but let me confirm it.

HDFC offered me CL enhancement before Card upgrade. I got both the things done in two months. No CIBIL hit for LE and upgrade as well.

For me as well, no CIBIL hit. But I didn't get Limit enhancement. My credit limit was 4.75 lakh and it's same after card upgradation.
