Incorrect credit utilisation reported causing massive drop in cibil

EINSTEIN

TF Premier
VIP Lounge
A secured platinum card was closed last month and instead of showing as closed in cibil it is showing 100% utilisation. Cibil score dropped from 772 to 737. ICICI customer care says wait for 2 months. Any other suggestions?

When was your card's billing date? ICICI usually report usage at the end of the month. And if you used your card 100% and it was reported in CIBIL then technically it is not the banks fault. But ICICI reports card utilization at the end of each month so you could either wait 1 month or so or escalate your concern

Icici reports on the billing date and not end of month, kindly cross check twice.

keep sending emails, escalation to icici till your issue is resolved. it may take more than 2 months. try all possible channels (emails, twitter etc) till your case is addressed. I am afraid you are stuck with your current levels for the next few months....good if icici rectifies it earlier. all cibil disputing are painfully slow...deliberately designed that way I guess
