The symposium brought together global thought leaders, policymakers, industry experts, and academia to deliberate on next-generation 6G technologies, research collaborations, standardisation efforts, and pathways for India to lead the 6G innovation ecosystem.

In the symposium, Bharat 6G alliance signed 2 MoU with NASSCOM and European Space Agency for fostering joint participation in the field of technology development. Bharat 6G Alliance also released 4 whitepapers titled “Spectrum Roadmap for 6G in India” and “Powering Next-Gen Telecom”, “AI and Network evolution to 5G”, “6G Architecture, Security and Exposure Framework for RF Sensing.

A joint declaration endorsing principles for 6G was also showcased which will be released on October 10, 2025.

As individual our concern is device in hand.
But implementing big technology 6G, etc like a country in India, multiple stake holder have multiple challenges...
Congress is meant for discussing all those things.

Heavy-duty technology initiatives like 6G start years in advance of their formal launches. And, every time, there is a race among tech companies to patent as many technologies as possible, which allows these patent holders to charge whatever they want for their products/patents. These patents are so lucrative that, for example, what Qualcomm charges Apple for its 5G modem is not a basic price but (1) royalty + (2) a percentage of iPhone selling price.

They got all the buzz words huh!!! if only they included "quantum" we would have the full circus. Mobile tech is already in the shitter across the world. As always lots of grifters are gonna get a lot of money for doing absolutely nothing.

We are late to the patent game, it's already being played by companies with ethics of a nazi watchguard. The real innovation would come in the form of open-source telecom standards, getting rid of monopoly/duopoly in Indian subcontinent etc etc. I don't see anything of substance being done here.


We should also be working on independence from Apple and Google after Google took android development behind closed doors (they still make the final release public, but this is just the beginning) and will block installing third party apps (apks) after 2026/2027.
