Do you know what is QR code payment ?

There is no relation between UPI technology and QR code based payment.

You can use any payment network for QR code payment.

Like Visa card use mvisa QR, mastercard use Mastercard QR code payment, Amex use Amex QR and RuPay card use RuPay QR (In india we use Bharat QR payment for merger of all card networks. Similarly, Nepal use Nepal QR, Sri lanka use Lanka QR, Bangladesh use Bangla QR, Pakistan use 1QR, Singapore use SGQR etc).

So what does this mean? Visa card is Chinese and Japanese technology ?

You can use UPI payment through UPI ID/VPA, mobile number, NFC, Proximity sound based technology, Voice based payment, USSD, SMS based UPI payment, IVR based UPI payment etc.

QR code is one of the form of UPI payment. you can also use card payment through QR code.

So what does this mean? Visa card is Chinese and Japanese technology ? Not all the time but YES - Visa/Amex/Mastercard ''when using QR code enabled payments'' are borrowing Japanese+Chinese tech. Credit is due. just becuase u now apple falls from tree does not mean newton's law will be forgotten

source code is needed for software but QR was open source since start to begin with the japanese who never patented this stuff but chinese at least developed utility by integrating payments unlike india who just copy pasted it from china. again please do yoor due diligence

QR is open source but how you handle the QR at the backend and link with the banking and clearing system is the technology where the source code becomes relevant. I am not a bhakt and clearly say that NPCI top bosses were arrogant fools who missed the bus to become the world standard and gave away their advantage to Brazil's PIX. But I give credit where it is due.

By your logic, since every car still uses a steering, combustion engine and clutch-transmission system, they are all just copies of the original henry ford car. But in reality, in terms of technology, now they are world's apart.

banking was invented by italians and clearing system is again invented by English

btw car was invented by mercedes benz people of Deusteland ; it was henry ford who made them cheap

and using of hand tools was invented by per-historic apes. so every one using a hand tool are just copying those apes. written language was invented by Sumerians in early Bronze age. so every post here is just copy of the Sumerians.

yes our respected the per- historic apes discovered & developed the source code and back end to handle the movements & link the fingers and sheet.
they did all this & embeded into our evolving DNA, central nervous system and the muscle memory that we posses now.
but the per historic top bosses forgot to set the world standard as they were too busy living life instead of chasing name & fame.
Thnaks to Ada Lovelace becuaase of her we are able to exchange messaages here at least regardless we agree or not.

Also we are copy pasting english language that we borrowed from england for sure.
