I know, IPL is only for entertainment and a fixed tournament, you know the same, whole world except some who defy relaity believe it yet people watch it. Says something about how human nature has evolved over time in such a way that we start living in lies by perceiving them as truth.

It's all about money now. Whole ICC Turnaments are designed in such a way that a winner and a loser is decided on how it will impact money. Even Football and other sports these days aren't played with integreity but fixed or staged thing. Players are manipulated into thinking that all people want is entertainment and with integreity you play, it won't bring crowd at ground. So do what the fixers says i.e own team managements which are hell bent invloved in fixing.

Cricket died the day IPL started.

One genuine question.

Does people (not the mass, but cricket lovers) really love these batsmen edition of IPL?

I understand people want to cheer on every other delivery, and that is what IPL have changed into..

But still, isn't it extremely bad for Cricket per se?

More like watching baseball and not cricket

What a match... I stopped watching when DC was 6-7 down but then abhishek like went into NOS mode and those no-look shots were awesome

Same yar,they lost 5 wicket under 7 overs. I turned off tv thinking DC will loose by big margin. Randomly saw score it was 160,literally shocked and switched on Tv. Omg what a thriller. Worth watching this nail bitting match

Although, we can't judge a player by only one match.
Many more matches remaining let's see how he performs.
Getting duck on first match is okay, captaincy was good, but the stump Rishabh that missed it not justified.
That's was the moment of the match.

He did similar blunders in DC also so many times. Doesn't why everyone hypes him.

Captaincy good? That was brainless DC batters who got out in silliest ways. Btw Shadul bowled beautifully for 2 overs,why he didn't bowled last 2 overs?

He missed run out of Ashutosh also. Ofcourse it might be tough,but he is no where to accuracy.

Pant is good in t20 ipl, not in international t20. His average approx 40 with strike rare of 150.
Odi is okay okay.
In test, he is the best.

I also don't know why shardul didn't bowled all four overs.
Last over given to shahbaz was good decision because Mohit could take single easily on fast bowling. In spin bowling it is difficult and pant proved his decision was good but he missed stumped on very first ball otherwise match was over.
although, lsg lose match because of weak bowling. DC openers played bad shots that's why they got out.
And bishnoi last over three bowls conceded 16 runs. 1000044176.webp
