IndusInd Bank Application - Physical Verification ?

Recently, I applied for Indusind bank Card, and I received a verification call. After confirmation, I received a call from an agent to verify the address physically.
He never showed up. When I called back to the number after like 4-5 hours, he said that he had already verified my address by asking the Security.

When I asked the Security, he said that nobody came to ask him anything.

So, is this some kind of fraud, or has the verification failed?

Update - Card has been approved. Surprisingly, card was approved on 3 Jan 2023 (applied on 31 Dec 2022), but I got the approval message on 6 Jan 2023 (today)
