Devaluation IndusInd Bank credit cards' reward points devaluation w.e.f 1st April 2025,

Got the Indusind Tiger last year and the card is already sleeping in the drawer since a few months. I understand the economics of credit card spends and how it needs to be profitable but Indusind sucks big time in overall credit card appeal.

Their BMS offer does not work and Tiger card lost its appeal when Vistara stopped being a partner.

Not every credit card can be an Infinia or Emeralde metal and that is alright but trying to charge lacs as welcome fees for cards that have half the benefits of competition only makes sense for the HNI who do not really care about credit card points in the first place.

Even HN1 won't care, they don't have the glamour of Amex or Citi..

Isn't charging additional fee on reward redemption is kind of Indirect Card Fees.
Yes. So IndusInd credit cards, IDFC and RBL are actually not lifetime free. The redemption fee is the card fee even if we redeem the points once a year or once every 3 years. Meanwhile they continuously devalue the points. IDFC devalues the earn rate, IndusInd is worse, they devalue the value of points so accumulated points also get more and more worthless.

Was wondering which credit cards they hold worth spending on at the first place place except EazyDiner. As it is their debit cards find more favor for spends rather than credit cards.
Most people do not used to get card because they want it, but rather they fell for it. They have it so they are using it.

People spent 3,000 Crore with BoBCards in Jan month while 8800 Cr with IndusInd. That is almost thrice the amount with same number of cards in the market (~30L cards of both BoB and IndusInd).

Also, per card spends of IndusInd (~29K) is higher than the top issuers like HDFC (~21K), etc.
Even AmEx used to stay behind IndusInd in per card spends a while ago, however Amex currently stands at 37K being the top per card spending card issuer.

Not sure which card is being used, but people are using IndusInd Bank cards nonetheless.

In the timeframe of almost 2 years , I have accumulated only 16 points in my Indusind Legend Credit Card.

Imagine, how much I have used the legendary card.

Aanewala, 10 saal mein bhi mera iss card pe 100 reward points nehi hoga.
Jis din legend+Select benifit khatam, mera card bhi uss din e khatam hoga.
