Offer Fulfilled! IndusInd Celesta Card Upgrade Offer

I am being offered IndusInd Celesta for 25K Joining Fees and 25K voucher alongside. Does this card have any compelling features/value propositions that justify this fee?

Should I take the upgrade?

Yes I rejected their offers. Just waiting for upgrade from Pinnacle to Indulge or if any other attractive offer comes.

Yes atleast Pinnacle has 2.5% reward rate. Super premium cards of Indus Ind have lower reward rates than that. Who knows they might devalue Pinnacle rate also.

Pinnacle after devaluation is 1.88%, not 2.5% 😞. Also the rewards point redemption fee is now ₹149+GST=₹176 😨 which brings down the 1.88% to 1.80%. Still it is their "best" rewarding core card and EazyDiner Signature the best cobranded but when cards like SBI Cashback exist, other Swiggy, Axis Cashback, who would use Pinnacle for 1.8%?

I was lucky to get Exclusive 0 balance in Diwali offer with a special waiver code so I can change my Pinnacle but there is no better card to "upgrade" to. The only decent one is Pioneer Heritage Metal which is 0% forex and 2.5% reward rate on international spends only. Which retard at IndusInd came up with such a card - domestic spends only 1% for their most premium card? IndusInd credit cards can be considered "legacy products" - they were last refreshed around 2019. Since then they have rotten and degraded. Also I see NO OFFERS on merchant websites, not even occasionally which is why IndusInd credit cards are lying in the drawer unused.

Credit cards with lower reward rates than IndusInd Pinnacle e.g. Kotak, IDFC Wealth, any Federal, RBL, PNB, Canara, DBS are "better" than IndusInd due to occasional big flat discount offers.

07 Sept 2025: I attempted to use my Indusind Celesta Credit Card at the Encalm Lounge, T3, New Delhi Airport. However, when the card was swiped, the POS machine showed charges of ₹2,330 for lounge access. Surprisingly:

1. This card provides unlimited complimentary domestic lounge access.
2. And, there are no minimum spending criteria for this benefit on this card.

08 Sept 2025: I faced the same issue at Primus Lounge, Indore Airport. The card was again declined with the POS message “Do Not Honor. Already registered a complaint with IndusInd Credit Card CS.
