Cred works for Visa Dc.. or something is changed? or though it is giving reward points, MCC is not eligible for debit card offer? Plz clarify

You get RP for cred yes but the mcc is part of the exception list in this offer . I think a few comments earlier someone had mentioned this.

You can try your luck on CRED by paying cc bills above 50k….I suggest to use only Visa card as MCC is different for Master card

Mostly, aml kicked in. Just mail them, they might ask for some proof of money, usually takes 14 days to get this resolved

I didn't receive any mail, but mine was frozen on Friday, 3rd Oct. Sent an email to the branch manager on the 4th requesting a fix, and today, on the 6th, the freeze was removed.

account more than 1 year old and i only use it for cc bill payments so the transactions do occur from time to time but generally are of less than 1 lac.
exclusive customer care team wants me to visit the branch, i emailed nodal officer, they will remove the block
my account also got frozen in may 2025 due to repeated transactions of same amount within a few mins and it took 1 month to unblock, they wanted me to visit at that time also but i didn't.
i repeat, they really suck

My AMZ ICICI cc bill is 90K, but it bears the same last 4 digits as Rubyx CC, and 3rd party apps saying multiple CC same ending digits; cannot add/pay this bill.
