is cheque book also provide in this account.

Please comment if anyone know about this.
I want to open account in this.

I did also opened a new account last week.did 500rs fuel spend.got 25rs points .But clueless on how to spend.Inside app it shows redeem option.but it shows needed minimum points.did another 400@fuel..Looks like there will be no useful coupons to redeem. Please let me know if you found anything good.

Also for the spend of 25k..I think only transactions from NXT month to 3 months will only count as per official website..
Try to redeem cash into account through net banking. It works for other debit cards. But minimum 500 points needed I guess. Depends on card.

i think i saw cashback redemption option on their website, just got the card so cant confirm the actual value of the points but as per the brochure it should be equal to a rupee.

In the app while redeem it shows minimum points needed..so unable to see voucher list there..

indusmoments.com In here too I can see the points.dont know for sure if we can redeem through here.

And for the refund:-

For example: If the Debit Card Issuance Date is 25th March, 2023:
For reversal of Issuance Fee minimum Spends/ Average Monthly Balance will be checked for period between April, 2023 to June, 2023 tenure.
And for subsequent year(s) reversal of Annual Fee will be done basis minimum Spends for period between April 2024-June 2024 tenure and so on.

COPIED FROM WEBSITE.I WAS ALSO UNAWARE AND DID TRANSACTIONS.

That was for MAB, which makes sense, for payment it should start for the day ypu get it and not the next month. Also the redemption for cashback needs atleast 300 points and in multiples of 100. They also allow redemption against vouchers but that won't maximize returns.

I have using indusind delight saving account and link legend credit card in account, Can i upgrade existing delight account to select account, if yes then what's the process
Open a new account with your nearest branch. Considering IndusInd, it's unlikely they will provide you with future assistance if you need help with your account. It's better to open a new account with an initial funding and ensure you inform them about your existing relationship as well. Otherwise, it will only complicate matters further. If you still wish to proceed with the upgrade route, make sure to deposit the initial funding amount and withdraw it once the account is operational.

my experience with the branch was pathetic, just opened an account with them, they said zero MAB delite account is not available for offline application so asked me to apply online, i sat there and applied online and asked her to complete kyc as i was still there, but she refused and asked me to come tomorrow and didnt gave a valid reason for it. The next day they again took half hour just to complete kyc as they just kept on selling insurance/loan products. It took 7 days for kyc to process which for most other banks took 5 hours max.

Why not do video KYC yourself at home ? It takes 2 minutes. Of course this is an online account. It cannot be opened offline.

I read some reviews here stating that relationship with local branch led to faster resolution of services, hence did it offline, also my site for that day was just beside the bank so thought why not.

It doesn't matter online or offline account. The branch cannot deny you any service. They will help you with anything.

It's not just a matter of denying service; it's about treating the customer with disregard and taking advantage of them. However, if you open an account through them, they do make genuine efforts to assist you, unless the branch employees are unhelpful. 😂 Otherwise, any issue that should be resolved within a few days will likely be prolonged for several days. 😂

Not in my experience. I have 20 accounts. Only SBI and Axis opened in branch. Rest all online. Whenever I went to branch no one disregarded any issue or anything. Last month I closed 5 accounts by visiting branch in one day. Jana Bank, South Indian Bank, RBL, IDFC and Equitas. All closed account in 10-15 minutes. Just asked me reason and I said I have no use of account. So it was all smooth. I was expecting very much resistance in closing accounts but nothing like that happened. Now I have to close 5 more and will keep 10 accounts xD

That's your perspective based on your experience. However, if you search the forum, you will find numerous people sharing similar experiences when it comes to IndusInd Bank. This particular thread focuses specifically on IndusInd Bank. The issue being discussed is not about closing accounts, but rather about opening new accounts or upgrading existing ones. I want to emphasize once again that it's not about denial of service but rather the bank's tendency to prolong a simple task that could be resolved within a few days, along with providing weak excuses. Experiences may vary from person to person and branch to branch, but it appears that a majority of us have suffered in the case of IndusInd Bank. 😂

I had an issue with IndusInd too. I escalated to RBI and it was fixed. But most major banks fix your issues on a priority agar Twitter pe izzat ka kachra karte hai to.

Indusind has such a pathetic app, i tried to register my biometrics but the app says it cannot do it, tried to enable contactless payment last week, it took mpin as well as otp, but didn't do it and gave cc number to do so, called them where they asked for my number 3-4 times along with otp after which i was able to connect them. He raised a request last week, yet nothing has changed for my card. Does anyone else know about the process to enable contactless payment?

Yikes. I wanted to reply to this comment but accidentally pressed 'Delete' instead of reply. @VISHESH_BANSAL I haven't seen a bank like IndusInd bank. Ideally on escalation all banks re-investigate the issue and reply accordingly. But in IndusInd bank even the MD/CEO copy-pastes what level 1 support replied with. So no re-consideration at NO/PNO/MD level.
Maybe only one person is working on levels just like Sonic. In that movie, Sonic throws the ball, then runs and bats, and then, fileds the ball.
