Devaluation INDUSIND select - Non maintenance charge

I have been having Indusind select savings account linked with legend card for a year now. I have never been charged non-maintenance charge so far. But strangely, I got a sms today that asked me to maintain balance failing which I'll be penalized with non-maintenance charge. Should I be doing anything at all with regards to this?

Is everyone getting the same message? Or am I the only one who got this message?

Have they updated anything in the recent SOC for select account? Any insights would be highly appreciated.

still not completely reversed for me.

They are reversing the charges for everyone who has raised a complaint.

The charges were taken from majority of customers holding the (Select + Legend) / (Exclusive + Pinnacle) combo accounts. As a result, many complaints have been registered, and the resolution process is taking some time. Your turn will come, and the reversal will be credited to you as well.

And this bank's IT infrastructure is a big joke.

Is that 1,062 charge visible in indie app? I don't remember how much balance I maintained before that charge which is not visible in app, but now I have (898) balance which doesn't seem to match with 1,062 charge.

How to check this charge and whom to reach out for reversal?

I am long-term holder of Indusind Legend credit card and have been holding the Indusind Select Savings Account no. ........... for a few years.
Even though the Indusind Select Account has Average Quarterly Balance requirement of Rs. 50,000/-, Indusind Bank (as per its official 'Schedule of Benefits' or 'S.O.B.') offers waiver of minimum balance requirement for the Indusind Select Account to holders of Legend credit card, provided the two (credit card and savings account) are linked with one another.
By following such requirements, I have been using the aforesaid Select account along with the Legend credit card linked to each other and have been enjoying the benefits of Indusind Select Account without having to maintain any minimum Average Quarterly Balance.
But on ...../09/2025, despite having the Legend credit card as an active credit card, my aforesaid savings account was wrongly charged for non-maintenance of minimum balance. Before such charges my account had credit balance of Rs. ...../- (Rupees .........) only and now, as of writing this email, the account has a negative balance of Rs. ........../- only as per Net Banking. (Refer to screenshot and S.O.B. document attached below)
I therefore request your good office to look into this matter and reverse the charges immediately, as per your official Schedule of Benefits for Select Savings Account and make sure this incident does not get repeated.
Please note that your immediate action in this matter is highly solicited and failure to reverse the charges would compel me to raise this issue with the Banking Regulatory Body/Banking Ombudsman for compensation of mental harassment and trauma caused by wrongful acts of Indusind Bank.
Thanks bro. Being a lazy person, i thought of writing to them. After seeing your posting , i just copied and send it to them on Sunday. Money got reversed today. Thanks to you and forum admins
 
Btw everyone who was charged - was it without any prior communication? I am thinking to still keep this account and if/when there's a no MAB maintained message, I will try to maintain balance. So want to know do they charge directly or some SMS or email is sent as a warning for every customer?

Yes, approx 25 days ago they sent a warning sms to all of us. But we all ignored it, because in the past they sent this type of sms but never never charged any fee
