I had a talk with hdfc super premium customer care (atleast that's what they told when i called number on back of card) and what they told was add on card holders can access domestic lounges but only via PP not via credit card.

Primary card holder - domestic lounges access via CC
Primary card holder - international lounges access via PP
Add on card holder - domestic lounges access only via PP (wherever accepted as per PP website)
Add on card holder - international lounges access only via PP

can someone pls help me out here as i have read many posts on TF website and now i'm confused about what is the right answer....

since the card number is same using pp for add on card holders makes sense

This is correct with one correction is Primary card holder - domestic lounges access via CC and PP

No, my family members have used Infinia add-on to get access in domestic lounge without any need of PP.

And moreover Infinia doesn't have any limit so you can use same card any no. of times in same lounge. Once I used primary card for 5 entries back to back. And counter people generally don't say anything too as they all know it is Infinia. 🤣

No you can't, I had Magnus also with me at that time and tried for 2nd entry as normal and it gave error of 2hr cooldown.

But don't they check the name on the card and the name on the boarding pass?
how can you use one card for multiple different boarding passes?

In domestic lounge they don't check the name, just give card and take entry. For intl. they check name.

I have used Infinia add on cards for domestic lounge access multiple times.

In fact in one of my last visits to 080 lounge, Infinia was swiped trice. Once for main card and then 2 times for add on card. Lady at the counter acted oversmart and made an extra swipe for the infant baby also. I realised it much later. It was possible due to tap and pay

Yes, indeed Infinia is a king in terms of lounge access especially. No idea about Amex Plat Charge as I don't hold any amex card due to pincode serviceability issue.

You can use the add on credit card for domestic lounge access.
Make sure the card is activated and the correct pin is entered.
You will be charged the regular ₹2.

Have used the add on card at bangalore airport in Jan24.

I have Infinia card and my wife have Millenia card. Can I apply for Add on Infinia for my wife now??

I am aspiring for DCB metal (for my wife) after 4 months (Spends and LE) will that be a problem If I get Add on Infinia for her now??
