Hi I have an insurance payment coming up. Will my HDFC INFINIA give me reward points. Which is the best card? (I have other cards as well)

Yes Infinia gives reward points upto 5000 per transaction on Insurance. That is upto 1.5L per transaction value

Other option is to pay via Amazon Pay vouchers if insurance company allows payment via Apay.

Magnus, SBI Cashback etc are all useless for insurance

I made 2 insurance payments United India for Car and Bajaj Allianz for life. When I checked the statements for the points per transaction both don't show any points. However in the points summary it shows around 5K+ points under the insurance category.

Yes right. For insurance you will get the details in point summary only as the max limit is 5k/month for insurance category
