Infinia Infinia metal Upgrade Requests on Hold

I had Sent a cold email to HDFC seeking upgrade from DCB Metal to Infinia Metal as I have > 10L credit limit and over 15L spends in last 6 months.

Unfortunately it seems requests have been put on hold. Anyone has pointers to why? Or when would this get resolved? Any other alternative way I can get Infinia Metal.

I sent it today and got an email back that Diners Black to Infinia upgrades are on hold.

Thanks for the information, My RM also said there is no new notice/email after the upgrades were put on hold few weeks back.

I'm pretty sure they were never paused. My sister requested an upgraded on July 18, was declined by grievance redressal stating some reason. Later she escalated to PNO and they asked for salary docs for limit increase and never mentioned any pause
