I don't think there is much difference between MMT Signature and Platinum...

One big difference, Platinum is ₹500 and Signature ₹2,500!

People who are getting the mmt card - this is a co branded card. So it will not work for standalone icici card offers , just like Amazon pay which does not work for such offers. Isn’t it ?

you can use MMT card on ICICI bank normal offer. It works without any issue.

You won't be making any down payment for any credit card that comes with joining/annual fees. The most recent bill will including the joining fees + GST.
So, expect Rs 590 in your upcoming statement

Btw, I think almost all Co-branded cards are allowed to avail any discounts going on anywhere, except the cashback cards- Amazon Pay ICICI and Flipkart Axis Bank
