Insurance for PreDiabetic

I had a full body checkup last month and I got to know that my sugar is at prediabetic level. My current health insurance is Lombard Health Shield which is a group health insurance and I got it through Amex card. I was planning to move to a personal health insurance this year but due to this prediabetic condition, I renewed current insurance for one more year.
I have a question like if I recover from prediabetic by this year after lifestyle changes, do I need to disclose this that I had prediabetic and I recovered to new insurer when I am going to buy personal medical insurance next year? I don't know how insurer treat prediabetic condition, is it same as Diabetes?

Yeah, you should disclose to new insurer. There may a hike in premium, but you will be on much safer side during claims

what is "prediabetic"? one is either diabetic or not. are you under diabetic medication? if yes, you need to disclose.
what is your HbA1c level?
